Man Cures His Prostate Cancer with Plant-Based Macrobiotic Diet

Man Uses Macrobiotic Diet to Cure His Prostate Cancer
In Montauk, NY, Ken Walles says he cured his prostate cancer with a plant-based macrobiotic diet consisting mostly of brown rice and vegetables. now he’s teaching others in his town how to use macrobiotics to become healthier.
More than six years ago, when Walles was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he was offered a conventional treatment which would plant 50 metal, radioactive seeds into his prostate. The metal seeds, each the size of a grain of rice, would remain in his body forever, though they would lose their radioactivity in six months.
Not wanting to put radioactive material into his body, and after coming across information about natural cures for prostate cancer, Walles canceled the $17,000 surgery and chose instead to treat himself through diet and a macrobiotic lifestyle.
Walles made an effort to avoid toxins and began eating more grains, miso soup, steamed vegetables, and leafy greens.
After two years, during which time he didn’t visit doctors, Walles finally visited a urologist who pronounced him cancer free.
Now, Walles tries to educate others in Montauk, a small fishing village on eastern Long Island, NY, with a population of 2000. He offers public information sessions to teach others about macrobiotics, alternative health practices, and natural ways to cure cancer.
